On August 10th I am going to be cycling over 2000 km through Europe from Montreux, Switzerland to my home city of Edinburgh, Scotland. I am doing this as a fundraising event for L'Esperance Orphanage in Rwanda who wish to continue their goal of becoming the only orphanage in the world to become completely self sufficient.

Day 6.... Sore head
Waiting for the back wheel of my bike to be fixed today. There is some festival/ holiday going on here so everywhere is shut including the bike shop. Will pick it up tomorrow at about 10 and get going. Am going to cycle up to a place called Neufgrange as it's about 100km away and got a nice little campsite. Have emailed them to try and stay free of charge but I think it's pretty cheap if they don't. Have planned to do a big cycle on Saturday and make it all the way up to Luxembourg City. It will be about 125 km but if I get up early enough then I should make it before dark and it shouldn't be a problem. Didn't realise that I will actually be crossing over the border to Germany tomorrow so can add that on to the list of border crossings this month.
