Managed to get 130 km yesterday. 30km more than I wanted and a lot more hilly than I expected. Was so nice to get out of Strasbourg though and have no problems with my bike along the way. Good to get away from that hostel too. Was sharing a room with a Russian man who claimed to be escaping from the Russian Government and that a polish spy was also sharing the room with us. He claimed the polish spy hacked his internet and was tracking him. Got up to the room and waited for this spy to rock in. Later I heard the door unlock, door opened and Mario and Luigi's 3rd brother walked in! Loudest Italian man, tango orange skin and pure white hair! He took one look at my cycling gear and screamed 'USAIN BOLT, CHAMPION!!!!'. I don't know what this Russian was on about but if this guy was a spy he's covering up seriously well!! If you are being chased by the Russian government and have somehow found this and are reading it right now, I'm sorry, I was just joking, you were an absolute pleasure to meet and goodluck with the rest of your journey :)
I am in a little town called Saar Louis just now and have cycled about 40 km. I don't have a map today and just have a list of towns I need to pass through. Thought i'd planned it quite well but have passed about 9 towns I wrote down and only have 2 left with about 70 km to do! Pretty glad I have found wifi so I can plan a bit more and figure out where I am going. I left at about 8 and it's now 11 30 so i'm hoping to get finished before 6 tonight. Found another campsite to stay in. Stayed in the place for free last night again, don't feel bad though as they were charging 2 euros for a shower and another euro for hot water!!
Waitress has just brought me some foooood so off to eat then plan my route today.
